From an early age I realized that technologies would be a constant in my life, professional and personal. At 3, my parents sparked my interest in video games when they offered me a bootleg console to play Super Mario Bros with them. Little did they know that this attitude would not only be a way of spending time with me, but would be the creation of one of my greatest passions in life.
The taste for video games was the reason why I decided to make Informatics my professional future. Around the age of 10 I stopped imagining myself to be anything else that needed to lead me to another completely different area. It became my goal then, and still is today.
At 16 I was finally able to start my computer education. I decided to join a professional course in Computer Systems Management and Programming Technician, where for 3 years I developed my bases in the various areas available, one of which stood out from the others: I loved to develop software.
At 18, having finished high school, I entered a course of 1 year where I studied Installation and Maintenance of Networks and Computer Systems. This course gave me access to the college I started shortly after 19.
Until 22, I studied Computer Systems Engineering. I matured a lot as a Software Developer during these 3 years. I had contact with various programming languages and structuring techniques and Design Patterns that still accompany me today and are an asset to my daily life as a professional.
Still in relation to my student background, I am currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Digital Game Development. After all these years I could not forget why I am today a Computer Engineer: video games.
